Try not to use to many varieties of type faces...one for the title and one for the rest of the text is enough. It gives it a more professional look to it. Avoid using too many colors for the type as well.
As for the pictures, try not to stretch them to fit your layout...cropping them is much better. I'll try to do a mock up version of suggestions for improvement for you.

It's only a mock-up, but I can make you a bigger one if you like.
I only used 2 type faces...one for the title and one for the rest. It's advisable to use a very legible typeface for the text. I used Century Gothic. I also only used one color for all of the text.
Try not to put a very bold color for the background as well as it might make the text harder to read.
